What is Scorigami?
This chart shows every final score in the history of Brazil's Brasileirão, going back to the 1959 Taça Brasil, and of the top European leagues (Premier League (since 1888), La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie and Primeira Liga) and of other leagues in the Americas: MLS (since 1996), Primera Argentina (since 1891) and Liga MX (since 1943/44). It also shows every score that has never happened. Pick a competition in the filter to see just that one. A scorigami is a score that had never happened before: with all competitions selected, in none of them; with one league selected, in that league. The site tracks every new score and how many times each one has been repeated. The idea comes from NFL Scorigami, created by Jon Bois.
How to read this chart
The winner's score is on the vertical axis, on the left, and the loser's on the horizontal axis, at the bottom. Draws sit on the diagonal. With the "Frequency" color, the darker the square, the more often that score has happened; with "First time", the darker the square, the more recently that score happened for the first time. Blank squares are scores that have never happened. The top-right half is empty because the loser can't score more than the winner. In home × away mode, 3–1 and 1–3 become different squares. Hover to see the numbers and click a square to see the games.
